From left top: grapes, plain organic whole milk yogurt, pluots, colby jack cheese, whole wheat crackers, and ham (please excuse the dog chewed spoon. I didn't notice it until after I had taken the picture.)
I recently found the blog Muffin Tin Mom and thought her idea of using muffin tins for meals was a unique and interesting one. C really likes to have things in their places, so I figured having everything in his meal in its own separate spot would be right up his alley. I have fixed a couple of his meals this way and he usually eats them up. Today he really seemed to like the pluots, the yogurt, and the crackers.

This meal looks so healthy. I try to give JDaniel healthy foods too. This week I slipped a little.
ReplyDeleteI have really got to find me some pluots. I keep hearing about them. Your tin looks great. I remember when I first heard about muffin tin meals. I loved the idea, didn't have a tin. Then I found some round ones at a yard sale. Then I found 2 more at the thrift shop. The girls love their muffin tins.
ReplyDeleteBTW, wouldn't have noticed the spoon if you hadn't mentioned it.

I do my best. C doesn't really eat many veggies, but chows down on fruit. I try to keep a good balance between good foods and treats.
ReplyDeleteI found the pluots at Walmart this morning. I was going to get nectarines, but the pluots were a little cheaper, so I figured I might as well try them. He ate them up, so they must have been good!
ReplyDeletethis is perfect! what a great balance of foods!
